A bowl feeder layout should be confirmed around the receiving machine, operator access, refill route, guarding envelope and maintenance access, not only around the bowl diameter.
The most common layout risk is treating the feeder as a standalone bowl rather than part of the line. The stand, controller, hopper, chute, escapement and access space can be as important as the bowl itself.
